FotMob is proud to present a new and inclusive European football podcast that will explore all of the lovable, and often overlooked leagues, across the continent.
Named “The Sweeper”, the new monthly show will be hosted by Vienna-based journalists Tom Middler and Lee Wingate, who you might already know from the Austrian football podcast “The Other Bundesliga”.
In the first episode, released this Tuesday (4th May), Tom and Lee round up alternative stories from across the continent, starting with a look at how seven years of conflict in the east have shaped the football landscape in Ukraine.
They also call in local experts to explore some regional Super League projects that might be more appealing to fans than the European Super League ever was, and chat about everything that caught the eye in the last month of European football.
