This Weekend: A guide to the games still going ahead.

Despite all the postponements and all the suspended leagues around the world we still want to get you your football fix this weekend. If there’s any sort of action going on out there, we’ve found it and we’ve collected it all together in this article.

In what follows, you’ll find links to every league mentioned. Those will take you straight to the relevant page in the app where you’ll be able to hit the star icon to favourite the league, or click the bell to set your alerts for all the key matches.

??????? Non-League Football in England.

There are games at Steps 1, 2 and 3 of the English non-league game following a FA mandate to allow each level of the pyramid to decide whether to carry on playing.

Consequently, we have coverage of all the key games in the National League, including the league leaders Barrow at home against Wrexham, and important home games for two of the chasing pack; Notts County vs. Eastleigh and Yeovil Town, who welcome Barnet to Huish Park.

Dropping a level, you’ll forgive us for having an eye on the fortunes of Hampton & Richmond Borough in the National League South. We’re the main shirt sponsors at the club this season and as such, we’ll be backing The Beavers as they take on Oxford City.

There’s a big game in the Northern League Premier as well, where two of the best supported clubs happen not only to be sitting 1st and 2nd in the table, but also playing each other today – South Shields vs. FC United.

?? Turkish Super Lig.

It’s a busy weekend in Turkey’s top flight – the Super Lig, with the games due on Sunday looking particularly juicy.

The top two, separated by goal difference go head-to-head with Trabzonspor hosting İstanbul Başakşehir plus there’s a massive derby between Galatasaray and Beşiktaş.

?? Brazilian State Championships.

At this time of year, the various State Championships are in full flow in the home of the beautiful game.

The all-conquering Flamengo, winners of both the Brasileiro and Copa Libertadores last year will be playing against lower league, Portuguesa.

Whilst in another part of the country São Paolo, including a certain Dani Alves in their ranks will play against near-neighbours, Santos.

?? Russian Premier League.

To the east, reigning Russian Premier League champions and current leaders, Zenit St. Petersburg face Ural at the Gazprom Arena. And there’s also an intriguing match between 3rd and 4th as Rostov play Lokomotiv Moscow.

?? Liga MX

We’re only in Round 10 of the Clausura in Mexico’s Liga MX, but the weekend’s biggest game is probably the clash between two of the early pacesetters, León (2nd) vs. Pumas UNAM (4th).

?? Copa de la Superliga in Argentina.

The main league season ended in a typically crazy fashion last weekend in Argentina and now, just a week later all of the same top flight sides start another shorter tournament – the Copa de La Superliga.

River Plate threw away the league title by drawing at Atlético Tucumán, allowing arch-rivals Boca Juniors to steal the title on the final day. And who do River play this week? You’ve guessed it, it’s Tucumán!

Boca meanwhile, travel to Godoy Cruz – probably still on a high after the drama of last weekend.

?? A-League & W-League action in Australia.

In the men’s top flight, the A-League league leaders, Sydney FC will be looking to maintain their impressive momentum against Perth Glory (5th).

And in the W-League, the top 4 women’s teams in the country will contest the championship semi-finals.

?? Saudi Kings Cup

It’s also semi-final time in Saudi Arabia’s leading cup competition, the Kings Cup.

In the first semi-final, Reigning AFC Champions League holders Al Hilal take on the surprise side in this competition, Abha Club. And the winners will go on to face the victor from the heavyweight clash between Al Ahli and Al Nassr.

?? Indian Super League Final

We’re one step further along in the Indian Super League, where the grand final is set to go ahead this weekend. The teams who finished 2nd and 4th in the regular season have got through the play-offs and now face each other to decide the champions – ATK vs. Chennaiyin FC, who are managed by Owen Coyle.
